The Mission
The mission of New Hope Baptist Church - Gainesboro is the same mission Jesus gave his followers: Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.
The Vision
The vision of New Hope Baptist Church - Gainesboro is create a community of authentic believers and to witness a city transformed by the life changing reality of the gospel, as people come to know Jesus as their lord and savior.
Romans Road To Salvation:
Romans 3:23 for all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
People stumble at the thought that a loving God would never throw anyone in the depths of hell because they do good things. We convince ourselves that since we are good "most of the time", we should get a one-way ticket to Heaven. Right?!!! Makes sense, doesn't it? Yet, we miss the most important part that it's "most of the time". We are good people as we love our kids and feed them, take care of our parents and such. Yet, have you ever lied? You are a sinner. Have you ever had bitterness in your heart? You are a sinner. The Bible tells us we are sinners if we sin ONE time.
Romans 3:10 as it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:
God gave us the basic 10 Commandments in the book of Exodus. Ask yourself, have I ever bore false witness (lied)? Have I ever used the Lord's name in vain in anger" Maybe you've borrowed something from someone and never returned it? If you answer yes to any of these 10 commandments, your are not perfect. You have disobeyed one or many of God's commandments.
Romans 5:12 Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin, and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:
As Adam disobeyed God and ate of the tree of knowledge of good and evil, he committed sin and brought death unto mankind. Both physical and spiritual death, and by his sin he brought death unto all mankind.
Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
The bible says because of the sinful nature we possess, the sentence is death, a physical and spiritual death. Scary thought!!! I certainly don't want to die and go to hell. Read Luke 16:22-31 if you don't believe that there is a hell.
Romans 5:8 But God commendeth his love towards us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
Yet, the wonderful news is that God has provided us a way out, through his gift, Jesus Christ our Lord. Jesus tells us " I am the way, the truth and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me". John 14:6 Jesus came to earth not to save the Jews from the Romans like the disciples thought, he came to save the entire world from being condemned to death. God required the precious blood of Jesus, who was perfect and sinless.
Romans 10:9-10 that if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
Isn't that amazing?!! That's it and you have the gift of life for all eternity. and, guess what? you get the Holy Spirit instantly to dwell inside and guide you daily. God wants everyone to be saved. He loves you. Stop rejecting Him today. He created you for a purpose, He is your loving Father who wants you to be part of his kingdom. If you are ready to get saved, bow you head and say this prayer:
SINNERS PRAYER
Lord, I am a sinner.
I believe that you died for me on the cross to take my sins away.
Please forgive me of my sins, please come into my heart and be my savior.
